About Us

Jay Chandarana

Jay comes from a Corporate background.  One of her many hobbies was to learn Reflexology and so she achieved a Level 3 VTCT Certificate in Mid 2000 on Anatomy, Physiology, Swedish Massage and Reflexology.  Whilst working she used the treatments for Family and Friends.  She found out the true benefits when she used the treatments on her Brother, who was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma shortly after her qualifying.  Jay used the treatments alongside his treatments from the NHS and his new well-being plan.  Working with him on his journey to remission gave Jay the inspiration to change her career path.

Since becoming Self Employed in 2009, Jay has built her own development through learning new skills and adapting her treatments to best meet the needs.  She runs a successful clinic and feels now is the time to structure her mentor skills and has achieved her teaching certificates a few years ago.  This, together with her Mentor skills, it is now time to create a Training Trail where her crumbs can be picked up to help you either as a new career path or on a Health and Well-being journey.

She already supports Therapists' on a 1-2-1 Therapist Training Program, Organising and running Training Days and Facilitating Training Events.

She has been a Board member for the Association of Reflexologists from May 2015 to May 2018.  Reflexology being her specialist area.

Since 2013, Jay has been a Hertfordshire Support Coordinator for the Federation of Holistic Therapists and is proud to be Mentoring Rowenna Clifford and Debbie Gribben into this role and hope to hand down full responsibility to them soon.  Full details of the FHT Talks can be found under Events / Workshops (below link).

Jay was registered on the NHS Directory for the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and as her jobs demands are changing into support and training, she ceased registration in Nov 2017.

She has both a combination of being Scientific and Spiritual in her life and work.

Along her journey she has built networks and been able to help the East and North Hertfordshire Trust to recruit and develop a Team of Volunteer Therapists to deliver Energy Therapy across different sites.

She is also employed by the University of Hertfordshire and the NHS on various research projects.
